While post 50 years of age, most senior leaders start to leverage their wisdom and experience to impact business and reduce their number of working hours, I started working 14 hours a day, 6 days a week at our startup.

The answer is simple. I love ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ. Impacting businesses with employee engagement is my passion. I work closely with my young team, full of Gen-Zers. So, the number of hours doesnโt bother me.
My Co-founder, Saurabh Jain works for 90 hours a week because he loves what he is doing.
Can you imagine Sachin Tendulkar being bothered by the number of hours he was working in order to improve his body, strength and technique?
When people like what they do, they focus on creating outcomes, setting new benchmarks, and impacting the world rather than counting hours.
The True Calling โ
Once you find your true calling, the number of hours debate becomes meaningless.
People like us are working because our work ignites a spark within us. We are not being forced to work certain number of hours a day.
We focus on the outcomes. We are working for a Purpose to impact India. Impact the world. Those who are pursuing passion and outcomes, by-the-way, also create a lot of wealth for themselves and for their teams.
Therefore, it is crucial for organizations to have the right people for the every job. Once people start enjoying their work, the whole debate of the hours will be history.

To find the RIGHT person, organizations should:
1๏ธโฃ. Understand the strengths, talent and capabilities of the individual.
2๏ธโฃ. Understand their career aspirations.
3๏ธโฃ. Make them aware of how the role aligns with their aspirations and is a great opportunity to leverage their strengths and capabilities.
4๏ธโฃ. Identify the competencies required for the job. If there is any gap, bridge it by providing necessary training and opportunity to showcase the results.
Recognize and reward efforts.
If you follow these steps, every individual in the organization would contribute their maximum to the work and the job, without being supervised.
If a company achieves the eutopia of having the right people for every job, it will deliver extraordinary results!
